Fulltofta church in the diocese of Lund have well preserved medieval roof trusses over the chancel and the apse. In the chancel the tie beams are original and dated by craft research methods ocular to the 12th century. Complementory dendrochronological dating told the tie beams were felled in the 1140s. The craft research investigation told the rafters were not original and had been replaced after a fire. traces in the chancels west gable(east gable of the nave) had a hollow after a ridge steering beam ( a beam put on top of the roof trusses) or a ridgebeam ( a beam were rafters are inserted into mortices). The secondary rafters seemed to be younger than 1350. Dendrochronological analysis showed they were felled in the period 1273-1287. It is quite astonishing the tie beams did not burn as well during the fire. The craft research and dendrochronological sampling were performed by Karl-Magnus Melin and Petter Jansson. Dendro analysis by Hans Linderson and 3D model by Camilla Melin.
