Futuristic City Globe

This was my entry for ‘Sloyd in-a-Ball Render Challenge’ at Games Job Fair Autumn 2023. The challenge was to fill the snowglobe provided by the Sloyd team up with assets from Sloyd. Sloyd is a free in-browser model generator based on pre-made assets, you can create different results by playing with the parameters. I mainly used the randomizer button and tried several generators.

I challenged myself to do minimal edits to the generated meshes and instead let the textures do most of the work. I think my favorite is the sauce bottle disguised as a building, although the guns as floating vehicles are cool as well :)

Main inspiration is the city Cosmopolis from the movie Speed Racer.
