More model informationSome finely carved letters situated just below the summit (east side) of North Berwick Law, East Lothian, Scotland.
The letters are about 17cm high. The letters are carved into the bedrock which is Phonolite (an igneous rock).
I’ve looked at various Gothic fonts, the first letter seems to be a G, the second letter could be an R although some of the embellishment makes it look like conjoined letters AR.
Script, fonts, calligraphy is something I don’t know much about, if anyone has further insight or expertise I’d be interested hear it.
