Gagarin Station

This is the first draft of the skyhook complex that is the cargo and passenger traffic hub for the Moon in our virtual colonies. This is Gagarin station, where ships are built, asteroids are mined, people live and work, and cargo and people go to and from the colonies on the lunar surface. This model lays out the overall architecture of the station - how the shipyard is built around the O’Neill cylinder habitats, the solar panels supply the station with power, light and exterior views are reflected into the ends of the cylinders, and microwave transmitters send power to the cars climbing up and down the tether in the middle of it all. The scale is 4 km from end to end on the North-South axis that goes through the cylinders, and about 2.5 km on the vertical axis.
