More model informationThis magnificent cave in Pepinster has been discovered by caving club T&T Explo. The cave was scanned on Sunday 25 September and on 9 October 2022. We took 40 scans during a 4 hours session in September. Each scan has 44 Mpoints, so we collected 1.760 Mpoints. Two weeks later we scanned the surface and the entrance of the cave. This results in an additional 10 scans. After filtering and registering the point clouds the resulting cloud contains 895 Mpoints. The cave is formed in Devonian limestone and is a 70m long chamber. In the cave we find phyllite, limonite, hematite, alterite,… indeed a very interesting cave.
