More model informationRed tin box for transporting a gas mask. It belonged to Hannah Amos, a local woman who spent the Second World War working as an ambulance driver. Before the war it was feared gas might be used against civilians during air raids. Gas masks were issued across the population. Thankfully, a real gas attack never occurred.
