My girlfriend is studying law in school and that was the inspiration behind this design. Shout out to Andrew and the Poliigon team for some great textures.

This was entirely crafted in Blender and is an original design where I began with the primitives for the head and handle of the gavel. I loved the idea of the cast bronze plates on the gavel head crashing against a block of similar material. I then added the trim and jewels for looks.

My backstory for this work was envisioning a ceremonial gavel and block that had long been reprived from making laws and justifications and is now enjoying its new home on display in some prestigious museum for all to admire.
