This wreck lies on the bottom of the Baltic Sea on the Hel Peninsula, on the depth of 42 meters. It was built in 1916 as S/F Ditmar Koel in Hamburg. The ship took part in Hannibal Operation and sank after a collision on March 18th 1945. It’s outstanding features are the 105mm cannon at the bow, and a double wooden steering wheel in the superstructure.
Total time to scan the whole wreck was almost 200 minutes on the bottom, water temperature 4 degrees. the scan was created using almost 11 000 pictures.
