This U-boat (type VIIC) was undergoing trainings on Gdansk Bay, when suddenly it disappeared at night on 16.03.1945 with all crew after hitting a mine laid by soviet submarine L-21. It was re-discovered in 2001 by Maritime Office in Gdynia. It took many years until finally, in 2013, it was identified by Baltictech divers in cooperation with Daniel Pastwa as U-367.

The wreck is broken at the conning tower - result of hitting a mine. Both bow and stern raise above the bottom. In the stern section, two big propellers and a double rudder can be seen. Around the conning tower there are many scattered elements of the U-boat and its equipment. There is a periscope protruding up from the conning tower. The whole deck is still covered with wooden boards. There is an open hatch leading into the conning tower. As the visibility on this wreck is usually very poor, it took me five attempts to finally have acceptable conditions. The scanning was done over one dive with almost 1 hour bottom time (3 hours total dive time).
