Modello dei depositi secondari formatisi su un blocco di gesso macrocristallino per simultanei cicli di evaporazione e condensazione. In presenza di una superfice complessa con difformità geometriche le strutture in concavità concorrono ad attivare processi di condensazione, mentre lungo le strutture convesse si attivano processi di evaporazione in funzione della minore energia richiesta per il passaggio di stato. Il fluido che fluisce per capillarità dalle aree concave a quelle convesse, porta progressivamente alla formazione di depositi e strutture cristalline secondarie. In questo caso lo spazio tra i piani di cristallizzazione si comporta da frattura beante e i cristalli si sviluppano sulla estremità superiori. Velocità e andamento del processo è legato alla ampiezza della frattura originaria e ovviamente all’insieme dei parametri ambientali.
