I have been working on this monstrosity for a while now. Its mostly done in my freetime and whenever i could find time to continue working on it. This Character is supposed to be an enemy in a game. Due to the polycount i decided to use it could also have cinematic or close-up action usabilities in a game cutscene or similar arrangements.
Sculpting, retopology and unwrapping is done in Blender. This is my first project done in Blender, i wanted to try out the sculpting tools Blender provides and ended up using Blender for retopo and UVs as well. Rigging and some test animations is all done in Maya, texturing in Substance Painter. The pose you can see in the viewer above is created by using only the animation controllers of the rig. No additional mesh manipulation.
