Samurai and ninja weapons:

Katana is a particular type of single-edged, curved sword, traditionally used by samurai. 76 cm blade and 26 cm handle.

Ninja-To, or short straight sword was probably born from the broken swords of the Samurai. The blade is straight and without edge. The Ninjas did not believe in superstitions, as if the swords contained spirits and used them like any other weapon.

Tanto is a short knife-edge weapon similar to a single or double-edged dagger with a blade length between 15 and 30 cm (6-12 inches).

Shuriken or throwing blade (popularly ninja star) was used normally, not as a deadly weapon (at least directly). Must not measure more than 20 cm.

Kunai is a very used blade for being small and easily hidden, it is as much thrown as used in the melee combat.

Sai are tridents of hard and heavy steel, used to block and break or bend blades of swords.

Kemuridama are smoke bombs that when having contact with the ground explode revealing a curtain of smoke giving ninja time to escape.
