More model informationDescription: Al Tomaini and his wife, Jeannie, got married and moved to Gibsonton, Florida as it was their favorite locatios to visit while traveling with the circus. Soon after moving to Gibsonton, Al opened a restaurant called The Giants Fishing Camp and built an unofficial landmark which was his size 22 boot nailed to a pedestal. After years of exposure to the conditions, the boot was taken off and a cement replica by Lew Stamm replaced the boot. Upon Al’s death in 1962, Jeannie took over the restaurant until her death in 1999. The restaurant was eventaully shut down in 2007 but remains a landmark in Gibstonton.
