Scan of the glazed risalitof the Sprecher’s “skyscraper”( nowadays Trade Unions’ building) which is located at 7 Shevchenka Av., in Lviv, Ukraine.

Construction and materials: The protruding element of the façade is made of reinforced concrete.

Context: In modernist architecture, risalits were added to give dynamics to the façade and more light in the building premises.
