Large area of exposed outcrop on Gled Law (private farmland) 1500 metres WNW of West Horton, Northumberland.
This exposure measures approx 8m x 4m, and like Gled Law 4 is fairly prominent in the surrounding landscape. A different stone to the one originally recorded by Stan Beckensall was added to the Beckensall Archive in 2003. However, NADRAP tracked the original down during their later surveys. It was added to ERA as ‘Gled Law 5’ in 2008.
