More model informationGlen Beich is a small side glen, extending northwards from Loch Earn a couple of E of the village of Lochearnhead. This cross, thought to be Early Medieval (9th-10thC), is deeply carved on a rough slab of schist which now resides in the rockery of Glen Beich Lodge. The lodge is near to the, now lost, settlement of Carnlia and is possibly from an early, small monastic community located in the vicinity, pre-dating Carnlia and the adjacent Dalbeich Castle (now completely ruinous).
