Glial Cell Myelination of AxonYour model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
A simple rough draft showing the geometry of glial cells myelinating an axon. The cells wrap their membrane around the neuronal axon. The inner and outer surfaces of the glial cells are painted different colors to show how they will come to face each other after enveloping the axon. The node of Ranvier is found between the myelination of two adjacent glial cells.
