Globorotalia ungulata is a non-spinose planktic foraminifera that has a deeper dwelling habitat. It is very similar to G. menardii, but has a keel ‘crest’ on the final chamber. Although this one appears to be lacking the crest, the scan resolution was not high enough to capture the keel crest details.
