A menacing, red masked creature featuring a grotesquely long nose, angry eyes, and bushy eyebrows and mustache. Depicts a tengu, a proud trickster figure in Japanese folklore. Goblin was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 under the name “Japanese Goblin” and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
