Male gorilla cranium edited to be 3D printable. Original model (Specimen USNM585487) was made available by the Smithsonian under CC0 license.

This video shows the tools I use to edit CT/microCT models to make them more easily printable: removing internal structures, filling holes and thin areas, smoothing rough spots. This cranium is the final version that I printed using BambuSlicer to cut it into 2 parts and add connectors (it’s very big!). You can see from my 3D print that there was a thin wall in the right orbit–I have thickened that wall for this STL so it should not print with a hole there.
