Albrecht Daniel Gottlieb August Wimmer (1791-1863) was a revolutionary Austrian pastor in Oberschützen (Burgenland), later in Bremen. Wimmer worked as a Protestant pastor in Oberschützen for 30 years and left a lasting mark on the town. He was particularly committed to improving the school system, hygienic conditions and agriculture. His work led to the founding of several schools in the region.
