More model informationIsosurface render of GPR data collected over a burned Mississippian structure, Parchman mounds site, Coahoma County, Mississippi. Looking north. Burned structure initially identified in magnetic gradient data. The southwestern corner in a portion of the interior of the structure is clearest in the GPR data toward the center of the dat set, while the northeastern corner is not visible at all. A portion of a second structure is visible to the west. Data collected with a GSSI SIR3000 and 400Mhz antenna at .25 meter transect interval. Data processed in GPR Slice, exported as a XYZG volume, visualized in Voxler. This structure is more easily recognized in magnetic gradiometer data.
