A monster I have designed a few weeks ago.
Grafvitnir means “Grave Wolf” in old norse, and he’s one of the serpents that help the dragon Nidhöggr to chew through the roots of the World Tree.
I took “serpent” to another level though. I don’t know if I’ll make all the other monsters and Nidhöggr themselves quite yet, because this one was a nightmare to get through, and it’s still FAR from perfect.
Quick note on the design : I got mostly inspired by synapsids and komodo dragons, because while the former has the perfect mix between wolf and reptile, the latter are known for robbing graves, which forces the Komodo inhabitants to bury their dead in 3m deep graves to prevent the lizards from digging them up and eating them.
I hope you’ll like it!
