Grasblað

Grasblað is a sword I designed for a weapon design contest. The name is Old Norse and literally translates to “grass leaf”, but since a leaf of grass is also called a “blade” in English, I thought it fits. I don’t really know where “grass blade” came from, it just entered my mind at some point. The crossguard and pommel design were inspired by indian woodoats, the blade shape is a modified leaf blade design.
