Greg from one of the final episodes of “Over the Garden Wall”, a miniseries that aired on Cartoon Network. This is a bit spoilery, but it’s one of my favorite scenes in the show.

If you haven’t watched “Over the Garden Wall” I’d suggest it. It’s very short, there are 10 episodes and each one only runs about 10 minutes long.

I made greg in about an hour. The tree took a little longer, but overall I think I only spent about 3-4 hours on it. Longer than I would have liked, but the end product is cool.

I originally planned to also include Wirt and Beatrice, plus some extra background elements, but ended up just liking this the way it was. Greg alone in the snow, trapped by Edelwood, with the beast lurking in the background.

Fun fact: This may be the only fan art I’ve ever done.
