MGF’s GRP Vertishores are a lightweight range of products, comprising of vertical GRP rails, that can be provided with or without bonded GRP backing boards. They are designed to be rapidly assembled and installed by hand in conjunction with hydraulic trench jacks. They are designed for use in trenches up to 2.0m deep and 2.0m wide and provide an understrut clearance of up to 600mm. Designed to withstand a maximum SWL of 16.5kN/m², the system is suitable for use in made ground such as soft cohesive and loose granular fill which is generally self-supporting in the short term and where no groundwater is present.
