More model informationA large neck from a free-blown, olive-green bottle comes from a shipwreck site thought to be that of the Havana-based pirate slave ship Guerrero, sunk in 1827. It is from a type of large bottle known as a demi-john or carboy. The neck is 15 centimeters tall, and the mouth is 5.5 centimeters in diameter. An irregular, flattened of glass wraps around just below the lip and forms a “string rim.”
