This helmet was captured after an engagement between the Iraqi Republican Guard and British troops in 1991. This helmet was kindly donated to the Combined Military Services Museum by Stewart Bayford, who served with the 7th Armoured Brigade, 47 Field Regiment Royal Artillery.
This helmet is displayed alongside an Iraqi Fedayeen ‘Darth Vader’ Helmet which is also part of the museum’s virtual artefact collection.
