Very unusual cup-marked stone on Unst in the Shetland Isles, Scotland, United Kingdom.
Large cup-marks around the edge of the stone marke it look like the pinched edge of a pie crust. There are some cupmarks on the top of the stone too. It is presumed be prehistoric but there is a lack of similar stones to compare it to. This may represent the northerly piece of prehistoric rock art to be found in the UK.
The model loads with a texture wrapped on it so you see it in full colour, but to see the cup marks more clearly I suggest clicking on the box shape in the bottom right corner of the screen and changing the rendering mode to Matcap. The stone has moss and lichen growing on it which has made it through into the model. The stone is surrounded by grass I have cropped this as tight to the stone as I reasonably can.
