Hachishakusama, or most commonly known as “The tall woman” is a popular japanese urban legend. (八尺様)

She is most known for her antics toward children, preying on the age group 9-10 years. Once encountered, she will repeatedly say “Pu” and the noise created is similar to “Pom Pom Pom”. She has a either deep masculine voice or a very high female voice.
