Several hundreds of freshly fusion-crusted meteorites were found scattered over several kilometers in 2019 in Lybia. It is likely that they are linked to a bright fireball that lit up the area on 26 August 2018, which was widely seen and heard in the Jabal al Gharbi District. Many individual meteorite fragments were recovered with matte black fusion crusts. This specimen weights 219 grams and is used as a reference sample and field target for studies of drone-assisted meteorite searching Meteoritical Bulletin
