Han-Sur Lesse, 2019 - 2021

3D Model

Since the 1950’s the members of the association CRAF (Centre pour la Recherche Archéologique Fluviale) have conducted archaeological research and under water excavations in the caves of Han-sur-Lesse. This site has been mostly a shelter and sometimes a location of religious importance from the prehistory till modern times. In 2014 the volunteers and students in archaeology started an archaeological excavation at the entrance of the cave. This 3D model is a combination of the trenches which have been dug in 2019 and 2021 to examine the stratigrafy of the archaeological layers. The data/footage and 3D model has been made with the collaboration of Thomas van Damme (@Ubi3D)
