More model informationThe danish Ironclad Helgoland was designed and built for the Danish navy as a coastal defence ship. She was laid down on the 20th of May 1875 in copenhagen and launched 3 just shy of 3 years later and comissioned in 1879. Her life was rather calm seeing no combat and as such she was scrapped in 1907, as by then she was massivly outdated.
