My goal was to create a versatile low poly head base model, with focus on two important attributes, facial skin lines and the anatomy of prominent muscles and bones. Skin lines have been researched extensively by great anatomists and surgeons (Langer, Kraissl, Borges). They represent ideal lines for surgical incisions on the skin, resulting in smaller scars and faster healing. During the process of character modelling they are helpful to accentuate wrinkles and facial expressions. The topology of my mesh also respects superficial anatomical structures such as the mandible, clavicle, the sternocleidomastoid muscle etc. The resulting low poly base model can be used to build almost any character (as seen in the animation).
Important notice: The migration from Sketchfab to Fab, becoming a trader on Fab etc. requires way too many steps and the specification of sensitive private data. Therefore I have decided to stop selling my 3D models.
