Model designed from an original sculpture, at the Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseo de Alicante (EASDA). Center integrated into the Instituto Superior de Enseñanzas Artísticas de la Comunidad Valenciana (ISEACV). Its implementation was conducted by Pablo Rico Hernández, director of the Department of Graphic and Audiovisual Communication. And we had the valuable collaboration of Photography professor Carolina Molina Pérez. The meaning of this piece comes from the symbol of the Sacred Heart. But this denotation has been inverted: the thorns do not hurt the heart, but rather protect it. In this way, it is proposed to allude to psychological pain. And it also refers to the mental barriers that we build with the aim of protecting ourselves. For the realization of this model, a texture similar to the original sculpture has been keeped in the heart and thorns, while a quartz texture has been applied to the stand.
