Hecatossis is a 4-armed skeleton I realised during my character art classes.
We were tasked with the elaboration of a Humanoïd Skeleton in clothing. In order to improve on our scultping skills, the design had to inclued some fabric and leather parts. Our constrainsts for the low-poly model were to be around 10k triangles for the imposed parts. The end goal was to publish our model in two different poses on Sketchfab, one in sculpt pose and the second in a more dynamic one.

The posing process had to be done in mixamo. As mixamo only works with 2 Armed and Legged creatures, Hecatossis had to be dismembered for this to work! By removing the two lower arms and parts of the clothing, I was able to retrieve a skinned, rigged and animated version of the model. The missing parts were put back together in Maya. I then chose a frame of the exported animation and froze it. Some tweeks to the skinning and rigging later, Hecatossis was back in one piece, ready his journey !
