More model informationHenschel Hs 293
The Henschel Hs 293 was one of the first guided missiles used in combat. Designed in Nazi Germany from 1939 onwards, the Hs 293 was produced from 1942 onwards and reached upto 1000 units.
It carried a 295kg warhead and a max range of 8.5km when dropped from 5km height.
It had mixed success during its operational timeframe of 1942-1944, however it helped pave the way for further development of guided weapons in the future.
