Heraldic Ouroboros was also created using a software called ZBrush and the composition consists of a Calopus and Enfield locked in battle. Both of these beasts have adorned coats of arms throughout history, changing physical descriptions as they take new forms and represent new families. This adaptation of these creatures was inspired by combining elements from native Texas species or established breeds. The Calopus of legend has been described to have fantastical horns and in this rendition I incorporated features from the Texas Dall Sheep that was developed in Texas along with native alligator anatomy. The Enfield was heavily inspired by the indiginous coyote with bird-like embellishments from the Crested Caracara bird. The composition of this piece was based on the ouroboros design of a serpent eating its own tail to physically emphasize the never ending battle between these two beasts.
