More model informationThis is a historic drinking fountain, commemorating Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee (1837-1897). Created in ashlar with bronze and iron adornment, this Grade II listed site is signed F. J. Williamson and was erected in 1897. Contains the inscription ‘She wrought her People Lasting Good’, reflecting the sentiment towards Queen Victoria at the time. It is now situated just off a public pathway and road.
