HIVE-170 Interceptor

The Heavy Interceptor VEhicle-170, Also known as the HIVE Class Interceptor was a late Clone Wars Era Interceptor created by Incomm Corporation to try to compete with Kuat Drive Yards V-Wing in the Interceptor field for the Republic. Relying on the ARC-170 as a base, captured TRI-Fighter designs and technology, and the old Naboo N-1, They would create the Interceptor class ship around 20 BBY during the final year of the war to work with the ARC-170 in the Outer Rim without the need of capital ships or a transport to get to the destination. Also having concussion missiles similar to a bomber, It would also play the role of a light bomber for troop movements and destroying the droid fighters easier. It would see use into the early days of the Empire where it would be removed from service and replaced with the cheaper, more plentiful, and easier to maintain V-Wing.

This is a fan design I made for a friend based on sketches they provided. They also provided the above description.
