Figure of Saint Florian in Harmannsdorf. The statue from 1989 was made by Friedrich Sattler and was privately financed.

As can be read on the municipal website of Harmannsdorf, the statue has a moving story. As the statue was not yet completely finished, it was agreed with the sculptor at the inauguration on a Sunday that he should finish the outstanding work on the following Wednesday. Friedrich Sattler, however, did not come. It was not until days later that it was learned from the police that the sculptor had been shot by his helper and buried in the forest.
