More model informationHMCS Haida is a Tribal class destroyer constructed for the Royal Canadian Navy during WW2. She would see extensive service sinking more tonnage than any Canadian warship before or since. This model depicts Canada’s Fightingest Ship in her 1944 configuration, armed with six 120mm quick-firing guns, a four inch high angle mount, and a single quadruple torpedo launcher.
Haida would see action in the arctic, the Bay of Biscay and in the English channel, where the ship was assigned to the 10th destroyer flotilla alongside the Polish destroyer Błyskawica.
Haida can still be visited today in Hamilton Ontario!
