More model informationThe HMS Prince Charlotte was built in Kingston in 1814 for the War of 1812. It toook part in the British attack on Fort Oswego and blockade of Sackett’s Harbor. It had several name changes and served on Lake Ontario after the war. It was offered for sale in 1833 and with no buyers was towed to Deadman’s Bay and scuttled. Today it is a National Historic Site of Canada but there is just the bottom and scattered remnants of a once proud and historic warship. The model was created from 2,037 30 megapixel images.
