Hoar Stone portal dolmen, Enstone, OxfordshireYour model is disabled. For more details go to Edit properties3D Model
Remains of a neolithic portal dolmen at Enstone, Oxfordshire, UK At present the dolmen consists of three upright orthostats, the lowest of which is broken, the break corresponding to the largest stone lying on the ground. The two smaller half buried stones are possibly part of the capstone. The site is hidden under Holly trees within a wider area of deciduous woodland.
I created the model because it is difficult to see or photograph the site as a whole due to the close tree cover. Most photography of the site only shows the upright orthostats.
