Even though he is a faker, Hog the bootleg Sonic battles the evil Dr. Yolkman with the help of his closest friends Prowler, Fists, and Holly. The true issue is that Hog still harbors the original Sonic from the game, who is extremely jealous of his replacement. As a result, the former blue hero does everything in his power to take control of Hog’s body, turning him into Scorched, and attempts to have the game destroyed for revenge.

Even after everything, Hog still shows Sonic how nice and sympathetic he is by offering him a chili dog and friendship when he confronted him within the game’s code.
