Notes: RLA catalog no. 2501.1rp81-1 (cast). Fossil discovered in 1984 by K. Kimeu. Recovered in 1984 and 1985 by Alan Walker and Richard Leakey. Cranium from 80% complete skeleton. Earliest specimen of Homo erectus. About 12 years old, may be younger. Known as “Turkana Boy.” Cast made by Bone Clones, Inc.
