This model displays a rigged horse (Horse Rig) in a static position. The rig is diverse, and allows intricate control for each of the horse’s attributes, this includes the spine, head, arms, legs, tail, as well as intermediate joints of those areas, and other bones. Found in the file, is an ‘armature’, this is the object responsible for all of the horse’s movements, allowing the model to qualify for usage in animation.
The rig can be accessed by moving into ‘pose mode’ and roating or moving the desired armature bone. This will result in corrresponding movement with the bone, allowing it to be very useful for animation, as it can be keyframed, and animated.
The mesh is quite low poly, possessing 5,000 faces, though, with the subdivision surface modifier, the face count is increased. More following will corresponsingly lead to more models, so if this one is enjoyed, and liked, there will be more free ones to come.
