More model informationMy attempt at recording the famous Horseshoe Rock of Lordenshaws Hillfort, near Rothbury, Northumberland. An Impressively decorated outcrop of sandstone bedrock which apparrently was the base of a Later Bronze Age cairn (removed, though not clear when). Full of northern rock art motifs of cups, rings and grooves – view in matcap. Designated ERA-1300 in England’s Rock Art database.
Photos taken on a sunny, windswept day in December 2015, hence the dramatic lighting.
