This modeling project has been a true learning experience. I began building the model in Blender 2.76 on my Quad Core Laptop. When that system gave out, I switched to an older Dual Core Desktop running Vista, but as the poly count increased the lack of processor power caused severe lagging. To remedy this I switched to an old Pentium III with a dedicated video card running Windows 98. This situation presented a new challenge because the highest version of Blender was 2.45 and my model methods needed serious tweaking in order to keep the poly count low while still maintaining model integrity.
