Fragrant fried chicken soaked in light teriyaki sauce, boiling on a hotplate of fried omelette.
With one look, you can be sure that this is gonna be one of the best meals of your life! This is the Hotplate Chicken Fuyong (SGD 3.50) from the Koufu foodcourt Japanese store at the Southspine building of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Fuyong (or Foo Yong) is refers to a dish cooked with egg as a main ingredient. It is derived from Cantonese cuisine, but this version has a Japanese style to it, served with teriyaki sauce, white Japanese rice and miso soup.
I chose to model this as it is one of my favourite meals in school and wanted to preserve my fond memory of it in the form of a 3D model!
The cork base has a radius of 8.4cm.
This model was created by taking 271 photographs using a Canon EOS 500D, then processing them using Agisoft Photoscan.
